Our Little Jayco
Our Little Jayco.
It was the one that made us feel like RV'ers for real.
This was our second rig, but the one that shifted the way we traveled.
We bought it used and more than a little worn.
It wasn’t the kind of camper you’d expect to last another weekend, let alone four years of steady trips to the shore.
We got lucky. No major structural issues—just a lot of cosmetic work.
We tore out cabinets, painted every inch inside, and laid new floors.
We scrubbed the aluminum siding and made it ours.
We rolled that rig out for long weekends—most of them toward the coast.
It had everything we needed and just enough breathing room inside.
It was our escape.
A break from work and from the to-do list that never ends.
That old Jayco gave us room to reset.
It was the rig that made us feel like we were home, wherever we parked it.
